Level 101 Basic Handgun

Time: 3 hrs.

This course introduces you to the fundamentals of modern handgun familiarization, and basic safe weapons handling techniques. Course is ideal for first time shooters or as a great refresher for someone who has been away from firearms for a while.

In the classroom we begin with how to handle a firearm safely and the handguns safety rules. On the range you will work on ready position, grip, trigger management, and sight alignment. Safety is constantly stressed. Class concludes with weapon care and maintenance.

Firearms are available for use at no cost.

Ammo Requirements: 50 rounds

Notes: Please wear long pants with pockets, closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals), and a crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neck lines).
